Promoting any type of network marketing or direct sales business is a People business first and foremost. People join people, not businesses. And they're more likely to sign up with you or buy a product from you if they get to know, like and trust you first.

A lot of people make the mistake of practicing "in-your-face" instead of "face-to-face" marketing tactics. That's not something you want to do. It may actually hurt your reputation.
